So since you are all in charge of something, the idea and goal of this project is to:

1) Get a polished animation for your demo reel in time for internships next summer
2) Find a mentor who can help you out with what you are focusing on (concept, modeling, or whatever).

After talking to several people in the industry, they have all recommended that we email several people who are doing what we want to be doing in 2 years and develop a mentoring relationship with them, whether they are BYU grads or not, its a very good idea to tell them you're working on this project and sending them your work and asking for feedback. Just say, "hey I just need 2 minutes of your time", they can't say no to that.
